I don’t know where you live but it has been unseasonably cold and raining since May started – it’s such a bummer! I was getting excited at the prospect of warm weather and light jackets but nope, the coats and tights remain. Despite the gloom, here are some fun favorites for May!
Antisocial Clamshell Pin | This is the perfect pin for an introvert like me that still wants to feel that magical pull but wants to spend time alone ;) Who doesn’t love a mermaid theme?
Galaxy Momiji Doll| I love everything space-related and this cute gal by Luli Bunny for Momini is throwing some sassy 70’s vibes – she’d make a great addition to any vinyl toy collection.
Snow White Bag | Or in the witty way Modcloth names items, “It’s Off To Quirk We Go”.
Tangerine Butter Cookies | I’ve lost my sweet tooth over the years but oh my gosh do these cookies from Bakers Royale look delicious. They are baked with olive oil which I’m really curious about!
Blackberry Lavender Champagne Cocktail | This recipe from The Adventure Bite looks and sounds so refreshing – and it’s pretty, too!
Teddy Bear Umbrella | OK, I know it’s raining, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use a cute umbrella! The teddy bears on this one remind me of rilakkuma ^^
Unicorn Table Lamp | What does it say about me that I love a lamp found on a children’s site? Probably that I should be 20 years younger…but seriously, how cute is this lamp??

With February comes that obligatory Valentine’s Day post!
For me, Valentine’s day has never been a big deal, and is just an excuse to eat really good food. These cute gift ideas and cards are a great alternative to your typical chocolate-and-roses route (which honestly, is a classic). I love finding geeky things that are still great for Valentine’s day but will hold up over time:
BB Mine Card | Sailor Moon Necklace | Pikachu Pin
One Punch Man Card | 8-bit Heart Magnets | PS I Love You Phone Case
What are you planning on doing for Valentine’s day? Whatever it is, I hope you have a great dat :)
So I have shamelessly gotten into the “pin game”, or #pingame, or flair or whatever you want to call it, and I’m not looking back. I started seeing flair creep into bloggers and instagrammers I follow and when I looked into it more and started discovering artists, I was hooked.
I tried taking some fun & glittery photos but damn! Shooting gold plated pins on sparkly paper is hard. Here is my [rapidly growing] pin collection so far:
White Diamond – Yesterday’s Co | Ice Cream Cone – sockie | I Am Very Busy – Bando | Tamagotchi – Fairycakes | Cotton Candy – Fatally Feminine
Rin & Mt Fuji – souvenirs from Japan!
Are any of my readers Free! fans? Because I definitely squealed when I saw the Rin pin. He’s become a fave and permanent fixture on my favorite blazer.
As I posted in my New Year’s resolution post, one of my goals this year is to open an online shop, and I’m toying with the idea of creating a couple of my own pin designs. I have the ideas, it’s just actually setting out and doing them! ;)
Here’s a few more pins for your flair game:
2: Sugar & Vice
3: Not Magic Shop
4: Really Big Dill Shop
Do any of you collect pins or flair? What are some of your favorites? I’m always looking for more fun finds!
Wow, can you believe it’s May already? 2016 is flying by. March and April saw two conventions for me, so I was incredibly busy sewing up a storm for both. I’m excited to take some time and take it easy for a while!
May is always my favorite month – not only is it my birthday, but the weather is always gorgeous and it’s nice to see everyone spending more time outside. Plus, it’s mother’s day!
Here are a few things I’m loving this month:
‘I’m Outta Here’ Luggage Tag | Kitty Bag | Sushi Pins | Kitty String Lights
New Balance Sneakers | Peas in a Pod Salt & Pepper

Happy Thursday everyone! I would be doing my normal Friday post, but I’ll be heading out to Anime Boston tomorrow morning, so I’ll miss all of your posts!
Today I wanted to talk about a character that has held significant meaning for me since a young age: Princess Peach. I actually did a cocktail dress cosplay of her last year, and am making her amiibo dress for this year’s PAX! She is 100% my favorite Nintendo/Smash Bros character, and I can’t wait to dress like her next month!
So in honor of my favorite princess, here are some of my favorite Peach illustrations:
& I have to throw in my own Racer Peach illustration I did last year:
Here are some fun Peachy themed items:
Tote Bag | Laptop Decal | Earrings | Amiibo | Retro Poster | Ruffled Apron
Are you a fan of Peach? Which character do you always choose when you play Mario Kart?
