Beyond Earth by Stephen Di Donato

This project may be old (like 2011 old) but Beyond Earth by Stephen Di Donato still has to be one of the most amazing design projects I’ve seen floating around Kickstarter.

According to Stephen,

Designed as if it were produced at the pinnacle of space travelling, Beyond Earth is a poster series produced at high level.

It’s no surprise I’m a huge fan of space and sci-fi, so of course I immediately loved this project. It’s hard to choose a favorite poster, but I really like Neptune…which is your favorite?

JAGE by Carlos Vieira

When I stumbled upon this JAGE branding project by Carlos Vieira, I immediately knew I had to share. I love the flat colors and simplicity of the shapes and illustrations.

I really love the ‘flat’ look that’s been popular over the past year or so, and this project is a really great example of how great it can look. Simple is better!

Happy 2014!

Hello 2014!
Wow, can you believe that tomorrow begins 2014? I certainly can’t! While I feel like I definitely hit some lows in 2013 and took a significant blog break, I can’t wait to see what this upcoming year has to offer. I’m going to make a serious effort to stay positive and create more…I found myself sweating the small stuff this year, and I want to be able to let it go and keep a happy attitude. H

Another one of my [smaller] goals for the new year is to create a downloadable calendar wallpaper for you, each month! So to start off, here’s your free wallpaper for January 2014! I’m so excited to create this each month.

Wallpaper | You Deserve It

In an effort to design more for my personal use, I came up with this little wallpaper for you! I think we all deserve a croissant every once in a while, no? ;) (I’ve been trying to cut back on eating gluten, so when I drew this, clearly I was missing something…). Design | Wallpapers

I was so excited when my friend Melanie of My Billie Designs asked me to participate in her design party series. I had been wanting to create some wallpaper downloads for some time now, so this was the perfect push to do so.
