Oh, is it the beginning of the week again? July absolutely flew by for me, anyone else feeling a little stressed it’s August already?

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to create a dedicated sewing/craft space in my apartment, and I’ve been looking for interesting pieces that would create a fun, creative atmosphere. I’m still a ways away from actually purchasing anything, but it’s fun to pretend! This week’s Product & Print has some pieces I think would be great in any crafting space!

Since prints are one of my favorite pieces to make a space feel more personal, I have a lot of fun choosing ones that are simple yet bright. I’m in love with this fox print by Lucy Alice.

This paper mobile by submicrocosm is such an intricate piece, and I love that it’s made out of paper. Isn’t that great? I love the little details.

What items do you have/what would you put into a dedicated crafting space?

I think home-design-wise, the best thing I ever did was to create a specific area for crafting. In my current home, Tal and I converted our formal living room (no one I know uses those anymore) into a giant studio. Love it!

And that paper mobile is so cool. I want to make a few paper mobiles, but they’ll probably be dessert themed. Bwahaha.
