Child of Light

If you haven’t heard of the new game Child of Light from Ubisoft, you’re missing out. It’s a gorgeous game about a fallen princess Aurora, who needs to make her way back to her father. On the way, she must save the mysterious kingdom of Lemuria from the Queen of the Night, who has stolen the sun, the moon and the stars.

Child of Light

Child of Light is a playable poem complemented with a story carefully crafted in verse and rhyme. Step into a living painting, the breathtaking scenery of Lemuria is an invitation to explore a long lost world.

It’s a really pretty game to play, and a lot of fun. It’s downloadable, so if you have the chance, you should definitely check it out. I haven’t finished it yet, but it’s one of those games where you can just play for a bit and stop, and pick right back up. There are all sorts of fun characters you meet, and the story is really beautiful. And look at some of the pretty fan art that’s been made!

I’m planning on cosplaying Aurora this summer, and making a progress video on how I did. So stay tuned for that!
